Use these gas regulators in ultra-low-emissions applications

| By Mary Page Bailey

Type CG330 and CG340 gas regulators (photo) are specifically engineered to address the growing demand for low-emission solutions in industrial applications involving compressed gases, such as inert gases, natural gas and other sensitive media. CG330/CG340 regulators are designed to deliver accurate pressure control while ensuring near-zero atmospheric leakage under dynamic or steady-state flow conditions. These robust regulators are ideal for applications that must comply with strict fugitive-emissions regulations. According to the manufacturer, the devices ensure near-zero (less than 0.1 std. ft3/h) atmospheric leakage for regulatory adherence. Built from die-cast aluminum alloy with an iridite and baked epoxy finish for long-term performance in harsh environments, CG330/CG340 regulators are compatible with a wide range of media, including air, inert gas and sweet natural gas within temperature limits of 0 to 160°F (manual drain) or 32 to 160°F (automatic drain). The units feature a standard 40-μm filter with an optional 5-μm upgrade. — ControlAir LLC, Amherst, N.H.
