Triple/S Dynamics releases a practical technical paper on screening

| By Gerald Ondrey

Triple/S Dynamics (Dallas, Tex.; www.sssdynamics.com) has released “Screening Theory and Practice,” now available for download at www.sssdynamics.com/resources/screening-theory. This 54-page technical paper, written by James F. Sullivan, former president and chairman of Triple/S Dynamics, distills his 55 years of experience in the design, development, manufacture and sale of bulk granular material handling and classifying equipment.

Sullivan discusses the principles underlying the performance, design and application of mechanical equipment for particle separation by screening for dry material processors. Mr. Sullivan holds a BME with distinction from the University of Minnesota, 1947. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi, honorary engineering fraternity and is currently president of Professional Engineering Services, Inc.

“Jim’s knowledge of the mechanics of screening, based on hundreds of applications, with many different screening methods, make this document a valuable tool for anyone who wants to understand and apply screening to their process,” says Jeff Sullivan, president of Triple/S Dynamics. “One peer reviewer commented he wanted to use it to train his young engineers in the application of screening.”

Triple/S Dynamics is a leading manufacturer of vibratory equipment for the process industries including the Texas Shaker Vibrating Screen, the Slipstick Horizontal Motion Conveyor, the Longhorn Fine Mesh Screener and the Sutton line of Granulators, Gravity Separators and Stoners. Throughout 2013, Triple/S Dynamics is celebrating 125 years of providing solutions to the process industries around the world.
