Toyo awarded ammonia plant project in India

Toyo Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corp. (Toyo), has been awarded an ammonia plant project with a capacity of 1,500 tons per day and associated offsite and utility facilities from Performance Chemiserve Limited (PCL), at Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra State on the west coast of India. Toyo-India will execute EPC work on a turnkey basis that includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning. The ammonia plant is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2023.

PCL is a subsidiary of Deepak Fertilisers And Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (DFPCL). DFPCL was set up in 1979 as an Ammonia manufacturer, a multi-product Indian conglomerate who has various manufacturing facilities in India.

Toyo has worked on more than 80 ammonia plants and now the company is also implementing a fertilizer project for Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh State, India.
