Thomas Swan receives four grants for graphene-related work

Thomas Swan & Co. (Consett, U.K.; www.thomas-swan.co.uk) has announced that they have successfully secured four government grants for graphene-related projects within the program “Realizing the Graphene Revolution” launched by Innovate UK. The lead participants in the program are Sharp Laboratories of Europe Ltd. (energy storage), Smith & Nephew Extruded Films Ltd. (separations), M-SOLV Ltd. (touch panels) and Nano Products Ltd. (printed electronics). In each case, the projects will also engage with leading U.K. experts at the University of Manchester, the University of Bradford, the University of Surrey and Nottingham Trent University respectively.

"We continue to be excited by graphene opportunities and will announce improved availability of Thomas Swan graphene products in the coming weeks" added Goodwin.
