The P46S steam trap is the newest model in this company’s PowerDyne product line. The design is said to optimize durability, energy efficiency and reliability. The design of the P46S features a high-tolerance, mirror-finish disc that provides a steam-tight seal, and an air jacket that reduces cycling and extends service life. It also features an integral Y-strainer and an optional BD1 blowdown valve that reduces installation space and simplifies maintenance.
