Thanks to its response speed (88 ms) and accuracy (0.3%), the Sitrans P500 pressure transmitter is able to respond quickly and precisely to process changes. An additional sensor for static pressure compensates for measuring inaccuracies and makes this measured value available as supplementary process information. The transmitter delivers stable, precise measurements to a turndown of ten to one, which reduces the need to procure and stock different transmitters. With a longterm stability over 0.05% in 5 yr (0.08% over 10 yr), the device offers consistently high measuring accuracy, allowing longer calibration intervals.
