The ecosmart metering pump is now available with a PVC pump head. That means the ecosmart can even be used in applications that require good resistance against highly aggressive chemicals — including industrial water-treatment systems, for example, where sodium hypochloride is used. The pump head can be used at pressures up to 12 bars (stainless steel, up to 80 bars) and at temperatures up to 60°C (stainless steel, up to 120°C). The metering quantity in all ecosmart pumps, regardless of the pump head implemented, can be adjusted manually using a handwheel on the gear box, electrically with an electric actuator or by speed control of the drive motor using a variable frequency drive. — Lewa GmbH, Leonberg, Germany
