This laboratory or pilot scale centrifuge (photo, p. 32 D-6) offers centrifugal filtration and solids drying in a single machine. It is equipped with interchangeable rotors to allow its use as a horizontal basket centrifuge, and as a tumble dryer as a “two-for-one” approach to centrifugation and drying. The machine is equipped with interchangeable rotors and casings that allow it to operate as a horizontal peeler centrifuge with automatic cake discharge, or as a basket centrifuge and tumble dryer.
