The Rosemount 530 Series Guided Wave Radar and 5400 Series non-contacting level transmitters now include the ability to communicate via the Modbus protocol. The addition of Modbus enables the transmitter to emulate LevelMaster — sometimes known as ROS or tank — protocol, which broadens the application range for these devices even further, and enables them to be retrofitted into existing Modbus and LevelMaster networks.
