The Iceman SM Series is a line of high-efficiency chillers available in capacities from 5 to 15 hp. Iceman chillers utilize Copeland Scroll Digital compressors, which are capable of providing variable-capacity output from 10 to 100% by axially separating internal scroll members. A controlled amount of discharge gas is bypassed for a varying amount of time, resulting in a reduction of compressor output that conserves energy while maintaining temperature stability.
