Plasma can be used to generate ultraclean surfaces, improving higher adhesive strength of steel glued to polypropylene or for improved durability of varnish on plastics. The company is also involved in the BMBF-funded Nanodyn project, which aims to discover ideal surface conditions to reduce friction, increase reliability and improve longterm stability for ball bearings.
