The Board of Directors of Synthomer (London, U.K.; www.synthomer.com) inaugurated the new 36,000-ton/yr expansion to its acrylic dispersions production facility in Worms, Germany. The investment increases the site’s capacity by more than 30% and its fully automated production facility significantly enhances the site’s capability to produce made to order specialty acrylics. The expansion will continue to strengthen the company’s growth in Paints & Coatings, Construction Chemicals, Technical Textiles as well as Adhesives and Sealants.
