Steinmüller Engineering GmbH (Gummersbach, Germany; www.steinmueller.com), www.part of the Japanese IHI Corp., is the new shareholder of GRAF EnviroPro GmbH (Friedrichsdorf/Taunus, Germany). With this acquisition Steinmüller Engineering expands its competences in the field of fluegas cleaning.
GRAF EnviroPro (GEo) is an expert in the field of air pollution control by means of fluegas cleaning of coal, oil, biomass and waste incineration, as well as process fluegases in the aluminum, steel and cement industries. The portfolio includes engineering, delivery, construction and commissioning of fluegas cleaning plants at already existing (retrofits) and new locations. Beyond that the GEo team members provide their know-how and experiences, acquired through engineering, delivery and commissioning of more than 70 fluegas cleaning plant, for optimizations of existing fluegas cleaning plants.
Good synergies will be achieved by integrating GEo into Steinmüller Engineering in order to continue opening up to the changes of the market and expanding activities successfully.
The product and service range of GEo, especially in the field of dry desulphurization, is an outstanding addition to the established Steinmüller Engineering know-how.
