Trials with several major producers have demonstrated that the S-Jet homogenizer solution cuts hours off product cooling times and debottlenecks entire production processes. The approach adds one of the product phases at a low temperature into a hot mix. Up to now, this hot-cold mixing approach has not been practical for most commercial applications because of the problem of waxing. The S-Jet design overcomes this problem, thereby cutting both energy used to heat one of the product inputs and reducing cooling times by as much as 50%.
