Removing a stuck gasket from a flange surface can be a tedious and labor-intensive task that can end up damaging the flange surface. The amount of time spent cleaning flanges during maintenance operations can be significant and may result in longer downtime of a section or entire production plant, resulting in a loss of production. Grafilit IQ (photo) is an engineered, high-quality graphite sheet material developed to have outstanding handling and anti-stick performance. Its superior anti-stick properties will increase plant efficiency while reducing downtime during maintenance operations, says the manufacturer. Grafilit IQ complies with the fire-safe test requirements according to ISO 10497 3rd ed., and fulfills the most stringent requirements with regard to maintaining low fugitive emissions according to TA-Luft (VDI2440). With its excellent thermo-mechanical properties, Grafilit IQ is suitable for the most demanding applications, says the company. Hall 5, Stand A24 — Donit Tesnit d.o.o., Medvode, Slovenia
