Industrial vacuum pumps with resiliency to volatile materials

The Saurus 939 high-vacuum piston pump (photo) is designed to intake volatile substances in many applications, including vacuum drying, reactions, distillation, crystallization, filtration, evaporation and polymerization processes. The pump’s cylinder, piston, segments and head of the machine are made of special acid-resistant cast iron. The other parts are made of cast iron, specialty steels and filled polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). All vacuum pumps of the Saurus 939 range have two completely independent lubrication circuits — a circuit for the process part, with calibrated injection of fresh oil, thanks to the LubriZero system; and a circuit for the mechanical part, with recirculated oil to minimize waste.
