New wastewater pump with efficient hydraulic system

KSB

The new submersible motor pump from the Amarex series (photo) is one of this company’s innovations being exhibited at IFAT. The pumps are employed in applications like wastewater and sludge treatment, as well as the transport of stormwater. They can handle wastewater with long fibers and solid substances and fluids containing gas, as well as sludges, service water and grey water. The pumps are equipped with either free-flow impellers (F-max) or open two-vane impellers (D-max), so operators can choose the right impeller type depending on their requirements: low wastewater flowrates at high heads and high flowrates at lower heads. Pump variants featuring D-max impellers are available with the D-flector option, which significantly increases resistance to clogging. A multitude of material and mechanical seal variants ensures that the user can transport a wide range of corrosive and abrasive fluids. The type series has a maximum head of 42 m and a maximum flowrate of 320 m3/h. Hall B1, Stand 227/326 and Hall F3, Stand 317/32 — KSB SE & Co. KGaA, Frankenthal, Germany
