This laboratory mixer does more than just mixing

Thanks to its multifunctional capabilities, the Cleanline C5 mixer (photo) is able to replace multiple previous machines. The processor performs a range of process steps — such as mixing, granulating, coating, kneading, dispersing, dissolving, encapsulation and drying — in a single mixing chamber. This one-pot method reduces interfaces and transfer points, boosts efficiency, and minimizes risk of contamination at the same time. Thanks to the company’s highly flexible mixing principle with a rotating mixing pan and the eccentrically mounted mixing tool with variable speed and reversible direction of operation, the system ensures complete agitation of the material with every rotation of the mixing pan. Additional options include mixing under vacuum or the double-jacket design for controlled temperature conditioning (heating and cooling), and other options for the production of temperature-sensitive products or for thermally controlled processes.
