The new family of EnviroLastic polyaspartic urethanes coatings (photo), which includes EnviroLastic 840 DTM, EnviroLastic 940 DTM and EnviroLastic 980 PA, provides improved adhesion, corrosion resistance, color and gloss retention. EnviroLastic 840 DTM is a high-gloss, thin-film, direct-to-metal coating that can be applied in temperatures as low as 35°F. The short (20-min) dry-to-touch window is said to reduce the chance for grit pickup, ensuring a mirror-like appearance. The EnviroLastic 940 DTM provides single-coat application with the performance of most two-coat epoxy/urethane systems.
