Under a contract announced today, Outotec (Espoo, Finland; www.outotec.com) delivers gold recovery technology for the Pokrovskiy hydrometallurgical plant in the Russian Far East (in the Amur region). The contract was signed with JSC Pokrovskiy Mine, which is a part of the Russian’s third biggest gold producer Petropavlovsk Group. The contracting parties did not disclose the contract value but deliveries with similar delivery scope are typically worth of tens of millions of Euros.
The delivery is based on the basic engineering carried out by Outotec. Outotec’s scope of delivery comprises the main equipment for pressure leaching process, including four autoclaves of 60 m3 with related equipment and a process control system. The equipment will be delivered over the next 18 months.
