The Litesizer 500 is a light-scattering device for determining the size and stability of nanoparticles and submicroparticles in liquids, allowing for optimization of particle systems by revealing how they change with time, pH, temperature and concentration. The Litesizer 500 determines particle size, zeta potential and molecular mass by using light-scattering technology in combination with transmittance measurements. The instrument’s software features a simple user interface where input parameters, results and analysis are all on a single page.
