On May 1, Matthias Kaufmann, DI (FH), MAS, took over the management of the pumps division at Kral AG (Lustenau, Austria; www.kral.at), and simultaneously became a member of the management team.
After completing his studies in manufacturing automation, Kaufmann worked for renowned companies in the Vorarlberg region as an area manager, key account manager and finally as sales director. His many years of experience in international sales and his comprehensive knowledge are ideal prerequisites in his new function at Kral.
Kral was founded in 1950, manufacturing screw pumps, mainly for fuels and lubricants. As the first manufacturer of compact screw pumps with hermetically sealed magnetic couplings at an attractive price, the company has changed the market. In addition, it was the first company that manufactured and marketed a comprehensive product range of flowmeters based on the screw-spindle principle.
