In September 2017, it was announced that Neste Corp. (Espoo, Finland; www.neste.com) had acquired Jacobs Engineering’s 40% shareholding in Neste Jacobs Oy. After this transaction, Neste Jacobs Oy is now 100% owned by Neste Corporation.
As the result of the deal, the company name Neste Jacobs Oy will change as of January 1, 2018. The new company name will be Neste Engineering Solutions Oy. The new name describes the company’s engineering knowhow and the way it operates as a solutions provider for customers. The names of the Neste Jacobs Oy’s subsidiaries will be changed accordingly
In connection with the name change Neste Engineering Solutions will start to operate under the Neste brand and visual identity. The current Neste Jacobs brand will be changed to Neste brand by the end of March 2018.
