NAES Corp. (Issaquah, Wash.; www.naes.com), a provider of maintenance and construction, engineering, and O&M services, has acquired Olsson Industrial Electric, a recognized electrical construction, engineering, and controls contractor that provides services to the power generation, renewable energy, mining, pharmaceuticals, and other industrial markets.
“Olsson brings us a substantial capability in both engineering and installation of instrumentation, controls, and high-voltage electrical systems,” said Robert E. Fishman, president and CEO of NAES. “The company has deep expertise in designing, building, and maintaining complex systems for all of the sectors we currently serve. Operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of NAES, Olsson will augment our capabilities as a fully integrated provider of maintenance and construction services. The company demonstrates excellence in safety, quality, and integrity, which aligns it with our own commitment to those core values at NAES.”
Olsson President Ike Olsson added, “We’re excited to join the NAES family and believe we will fill a critical niche in their service offerings. In addition to conventional electrical contracting, we bring integrated systems engineers and programmers who can design, build, and install custom instrumentation and control systems that complement our fundamental electrical capabilities. We look forward to continuing our 30-year heritage of excellent work and customer satisfaction as part of NAES.”
