Equipped with proprietary pre-filter tubes for the measurement of specific gases, such as benzene and butadiene, the UltraRAE 3000 has integrated correction factors for more than 200 compounds. Like the ppbRAE 3000, the UltraRAE 3000 is a high-performance photoionization detector capable of measuring toxic compounds below 50 ppb. VOCs can either be measured from 0 – 1000 ppm with a resolution of 0.05 ppm or from 1,000 – 10,000 ppm with a resolution of 1 ppm. The device offers two detection modes: a 60-s snapshot assessment mode and longer, short-term exposure limit (STEL) survey mode. — RAE Systems Inc., San Jose, Calif.
