This firm has fabricated a reusable, thin-envelope air-filter frame, which lowers maintenance costs by allowing for replacement of just the filter media. Available in two designs — both capable of occupying spaces less than 6.35-mm or 0.25-in. thick — the air filter frames meet NEBS standards by incorporating a UL Classified framed filter assembly within either a telecom or datacom chassis. The frames also are designed to align with preexisting chassis or enclosure structures, for enhanced thermal management and air flow. Prototypes can be shipped to the customer for testing within five business days of the request. — Universal Air Filter Co., Sauget, Ill.
