Messer Group GmbH (Bad Soden, Germany) has built a nitrogen production plant on the premises of the Harman Becker Automotive System Manufacturer in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. The energy-efficient and remote-controlled plant will meet the nitrogen demand of the audio and infotainment manufacturer.
At the site of the electronics giant Harman, Messer has commissioned a nitrogen generator with the latest technology that improves energy efficiency and controls the separation of nitrogen from the ambient air more effectively, making operation more economical. The high-purity nitrogen is generated directly on-site for the manufacturing of electronic products, replacing the previous deliveries by road and thus contributing to decarbonization. The specific electricity consumption per cubic meter of gas supply will be reduced to one third compared to the previous nitrogen supply.
