The new three-phase 750-49x Power Measurement Modules provide voltage, current and many other measurement parameters, allowing for comprehensive grid analysis. The modules within the fieldbus-independent I/O System 750 transmit metrics (for instance reactive/apparent/effective power, energy consumption, power factor, phase angle, frequency, and more) directly into the module. This eliminates the need for external measuring equipment, reducing measurement costs by a factor of ten, says the company.
