Measure chlorine and temperature with this sensor

| By Chemical Engineering

The Kapta 2000-AC2 (photo) is a new in-line chlorine sensor for municipal and industrial applications. This new addition to the Kapta amperometric probes is based on microchip technology that enables multiparameter sensors to be fitted within one probe head. The 2000-AC2 measures active chlorine (HOCl) and temperature directly within a pressurized pipe, even at pressures to 10 bars. The amperometric sensor uses a structured photopolymerized membrane directly on the electrode, which suppresses drawbacks of conventional sensors, such as pressure and flow sensitivity. — Endetec, a Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies entity, Saint Maurice, France
