Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. (Milan, Italy; www.mairetecnimont.com) announces that its subsidiary Tecnimont Civil Construction has established a new company based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) named Value Technology Engineering LLC, in association with SBK Holding, part of Value Lab.
The new company combines the strong capabilities and competences of the three parties to provide innovative solutions to monitor a presence of sand or other materials or events to reduce the potential hazards caused by extreme environmental conditions as in desert areas during the operation phases. Typical fields of applications for such an innovative technology are plants equipment, pipelines, railway and metro infrastructures.
With this achievement Maire Tecnimont Group further consolidates its presence in the UAE, one of the most important markets for the Group in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals and Infrastructures, also thanks to the cooperation with the Group’s strategic partner ARDECO.
Value Technology Engineering LLC will develop its own patented license, providing clients with the highest level of problem solving and advanced technologies to improve the overall safety and efficiency of infrastructures and plants. The new company will collaborate with Local and Italian Universities to improve and share technology and knowledge.
