Linde LienHwa to build onsite industrial-gas complex for semiconductor manufacturing in Taiwan

Linde LienHwa announced it has been awarded a long-term supply agreement with one of the leading semiconductor manufacturers for its new advanced packaging facility in Chiayi, Taiwan.   

Linde LienHwa will build, own and operate a complex of on-site plants to supply ultra-high-purity nitrogen and oxygen to the customer as well as other bulk gases. These plants are designed to meet the most stringent requirements of the semiconductor industry while maintaining world-class reliability and operating efficiency. Linde LienHwa’s total investment will be approximately $190 million and is expected to start up in August 2025.
