NanoH2O (Los Angeles, Calif.; www.nanoh2o.com), a manufacturer of reverse-osmosis (RO) membranes for seawater desalination, announced that it has been acquired by LG Chem (Seoul, South Korea; www.lgchem.com). The sale was finalized April 30, 2014.

NanoH2O will maintain operations from its headquarters in Los Angeles, Calif., and from its sales offices throughout the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
