The UniMax Floor Mount Hoods (photo) have recently been expanded to include a wider selection of models that feature fire-suppression systems. Standard models range from 6–24 ft wide, 4–8 ft deep, and 7–16 ft high. These hoods are constructed of chemical-resistant, non-conductive modular panels and feature composite-resin surface materials. This modular design allows for onsite assembly, and the ability to easily disassemble, move and reassemble the units at a later date. They can easily accommodate tall apparatus, distillation processes, roll-in reactors, or long-integrated instrumentation systems.
