Kurita Water Industries Ltd. (Tokyo) announced that it has completed construction of a new manufacturing building at its Toyoura Plant in Shimonoseki-shi, Yamaguchi, Japan, and operations have already begun. This new facility is being used to refine functional materials such as the ion exchange resins and UF (ultrafiltration) membranes used in water treatment systems, as well as to manufacture standard-type water treatment systems. The new manufacturing building at the Toyoura Plant was constructed to ensure a stable supply of various products, increase manufacturing efficiency by optimizing the manufacturing process, and reduce manufacturing time.
