Keep your Process Clean with this New Filter Housing

| By Chemical Engineering

The new line of 222 Giant Industrial Filter Housings and Cartridges (photo) promises sub-micronic filtration at low cost and high surface areas for throughput and is protected by a unique, double 222 O-ring seal for process integrity and safety. The first filter housing of its kind, according to the firm, the 222 Giant Line includes industrial housings and cartridges constructed entirely of polypropylene for improved hygiene and resistance to corrosives. In addition to compatibility with the firm’s pleated polypropylene filter cartridges — available in 0.2-, 0.45-, 1.0- and 5.0-nominal µm ratings — the 222-style housing also works with the new Key-Cyst filter, currently being registered with NSF for cyst protection. — Keystone Filter Division, Met-Pro Corp., Hatfield, Pa.
