Introducing the smallest Coriolis flowmeter on the market

| By Chemical Engineering

With the mini Cori-Flow model M12, (photo) this manufacturer has added an even lower capacity of 0.4–20 g/h, which represents the smallest Coriolis flowmeter on the market. The instruments are suitable for both measurement and control of liquid-flow and gas-flow applications. The miniature Coriolis sensor boasts superior response time and high accuracy, irrespective of changing operating conditions with regard to pressure, temperature, density, conductivity and viscosity. The effective turndown is no less than 1,000:1, and the instrument can be re-rated easily, enabling high process flexibility. The Mini Cori-Flow has a robust IP65 weatherproof housing and is available with approval for use in hazardous areas (ATEX Cat.3 Zone 2). The instruments offer integrated PID control and close-coupled control valves or pumps needed for very compact Coriolis mass-flow control loops. Options include standard analogue and RS-232 communication, optional fieldbus interfaces and additional functions such as alarms, totalizer (to measure fluid consumption) and batch dosing. Both fluid temperature and density are available as secondary digital outputs. — Bronkhorst Cori-Tech B.V., Ruurlo, The Netherlands
