The Microshim is a precision adjustable shim for positioning large machinery, leveling grinding equipment, adjusting roll assemblies, leveling extruders and injection molding equipment and more. The simple, compact device comes in packs of four, and is milled from a solid block of aluminum that is protected by a hard anodized coating. The Microshim allows users to adjust a stainless steel lifting bolt to raise or lower the machine, and thus avoid a trial-and-error process of lifting the machine to slide shims, spacer blocks and wedges into position. Height adjustments of as little as 0.001 in. are possible, and each Microshim can lift and support 10,000 lb. Lifting hardware is constructed from stainless steel.
