Honeywell (Morris Township, N.J.; www.honeywell.com) has formed a new business unit within Honeywell Process Solutions (Phoenix, Ariz.; www.honeywell.com/ps) called Advanced Solutions. This business integrates the open connectivity and broad-platform capability of Honeywell’s Matrikon acquisition with its applications and solutions business.

The Advanced Solutions portfolio includes offerings such as UniSim, Profit Suite, Uniformance PHD and Matrikon.
