Keep an eye on the condition of rotating equipment

The iAlert2 machine-health, condition-monitoring device and mobile app uses Bluetooth Smart technology to identify potential operating problems before they become costly failures. The app helps track and report early warning signals from rotating equipment. The i-Alert2 tracks vibration, temperature and run-time hours, and wirelessly syncs the data with a smartphone or tablet. The device povides early detection of system failures with realtime machine records and data logging with trend analysis. It is rated for use in hazardous environments with potentially explosive gases, dusts and fibers. It is engineered and rated for use in a wide range of industrial environments, and is chemical-resistant and is rated for extreme temperatures (–40 to 84°C). Through the mobile app, users can view realtime and historical data, diagnostic information and machine records. — ITT Corp. White Plains, N.Y.
