Diaphragm valves with safety and performance features

Thanks to its torque limiter, the T7 diaphragm valve (photo) can no longer be over-tightened when closed, thus protecting the diaphragm. A limit stop prevents the valve against sticking, when it is opened for a long time. The valves have a characteristic red handle with a yellow shut-off sleeve. This ergonomically shaped, non-slip handwheel allows easy, one-handed operation and the new housing shape allows water and other liquids to completely drain away. The valves now handle an increased nominal pressure to PN 12.5. The valves are available in three different materials: polyvinylchloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). Diaphragms are available in polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber. — Praher Plastics Austria GmbH, Schwertberg, Austria
