A safety shower combined with eye- and face-wash station

This company’s new enclosed safety shower (photo) is made from 300-series stainless steel, and is said to provide innovative drenching technology during full-body emergency washdowns. The enclosed safety space offers added privacy, and the stainless-steel roof and walls protect the enclosure from degradation from exposure to harsh chemicals, the company says. The enclosed shower design includes a sloped center drain or multi-drain system, allowing flexibility in installation. A patent-pending removable floor-grate panel system featuring stainless-steel slats is easy to install and remove for maintenance and cleaning. The company’s design eliminates stagnant water in the pipes, reducing the chance for any harmful bacteria to grow. An antimicrobial modesty curtain is also included for additional privacy. The current enclosed safety shower design is single-entry, with a dual-entry unit to be available in early 2025.The drench shower can be combined with this company’s Halo Eye/Face wash product. Using the latest technology in fluid dynamics to rinse off contaminants, Halo provides a more uniform and complete spray-pattern distribution. An exclusive self-draining feature removes standing water from the eye/face wash unit, improving worker safety and hygiene. The enclosed safety shower model is ideal for indoor applications, such as data centers, chip manufacturing and other high-tech facilities, laboratories, pharmaceutical and chemical processing facilities and other cleanroom applications. — Bradley Corp., Menomonee Falls, Wis.
