These acrylic binders lower the carbon footprint

The ENCOR range of waterborne dispersions is designed for textile printing and finishing applications. Because the ENCOR range of binders contains up to 30% bio-based content, the products can reduce their carbon footprint by 40% compared to traditional textile resins, the company says. The company’s approach to these binders extends beyond the sustainability. ENCOR product formulations are free of formaldehyde and alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO), and contain elements for increasing durability, washing resistance and color solidity, the company says. The ENCOR range is also designed for greater biodegradability. — Arkema S.A., Colombes, France
