Density-measuring device has no moving parts
The Dynatrol CL-10-HY density cell and Series 2000 density digital converter (photo) let users measure the density of caustic soda, HCl, sulfuric acid, ammonia hydroxide, nitric acid, sodium chloride or phosphoric acid. Dynatrol cells come in a full range of corrosion-resistant materials that are both weather-tight and explosion-proof. They cover a broad range of operating temperatures and pressures, include an onboard microcontroller, and have no moving parts, which helps to extend operating life. The accompanying software calculates specific gravity and API gravity and can display corrected gravities using information generated from the density cell. — Automation Products, Dynatrol Div., Houston
