A Smoothbore PTFE liner inserted in the inside diameter of metal hose assemblies (photo) provides easier cleaning and less flow resistance for faster media transport in high-purity applications. PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of any plastic available, and has a moisture absorption rating of less than 0.01. These fluoropolymer-lined metal hose assemblies are made of stainless-steel corrugated inner core available with or without stainless-steel external braid. The hose comes in sizes ranging from 1 to 4 in. O.D. — Parker/Page International Hose, Fort Worth, Tex.
