DSM, Sabic and UPM Biofuels collaborate to create bio-based high-performance fibers

Royal DSM N.V. (Heerlen, the Netherlands; www.dsm.com), SABIC (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; www.sabic.com) and UPM Biofuels (Helsinki, Finland; www.upmbiofuels.com) announced a partnership that will help to reduce the environmental footprint of Dyneema, the world's strongest fiber. Neste and Mirova invest in commercializing chemical-recycling technology

Neste Corp. (Espoo, Finland; www.neste.com) and sustainability-focused investment company Mirova announced a combined €10-million investment into Recycling Technologies Ltd., a specialist plastic recycling technology provider. (Englewood, Colo.; www.gevo.com) has signed a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with Viva Energy Australia Pty Ltd, one of Australia's leading energy companies and the exclusive supplier of Shell fuels and lubricants in Australia.
