The new LiquiSonic food-and-pharma sensor is a concentration analyzer with 3–A approval, making it suitable for applications in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. The sensor measures, for example, the °Plato, °Brix or dry matter content. In combination with a 3-in. clamp process connection, the sensor is installed directly in the pipe or vessel. The components are made of stainless steel DIN 1.4404 and are suitable for clean-in-place operations — even by a high-pressure jet or steam. A fully enclosed design requires no gaskets or “window” to the process. The housing has an IP 68 rating. — SensoTech GmbH, Magdeburg-Barleben, Germany
