The Mesa is a handheld computer designed specifically for use in hazardous areas. It has Class I, Div. 2 certification for use in locations where potentially explosive gases, liquids or vapors may be present. In addition to the certification, the rugged instrument is available in three models featuring a large viewing display and Windows Mobile operating system, as well as an optional barcode scanner. One model includes a global positioning system (GPS) and a 3.2-megapixel camera with this company’s software to embed photos with date, time and position.
