Cognite inaugurates Center of Excellence in India

Cognite AS (Oslo, Norway), a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI) for industry, inaugurated its India Center of Excellence in Bengaluru yesterday. The company, headquartered in the U.S., has locations in Norway, Japan, the MENA region, and now India to serve local customers, provide value, drive innovation, and fuel growth worldwide.

“We know India is playing a significant role in accelerating the global adoption of AI for societal good, and we see a strong alignment between Cognite’s strategic direction and India’s AI priorities,’’ said Guru Ananthanarayanan, Managing Director of Cognite India. “We are currently empowering India’s leading industrial giants to use AI to unlock efficiencies and help them scale globally.”

Cognite is focused on serving the industrial sector and shares India’s vision and commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence for economic growth, social transformation, and sustainable development. Cognite CEO Girish Rishi began the week by attending the Raisina Dialogue sponsored by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi, attending a roundtable to discuss energy solutions with Shri Piyush Goyal, the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry.
