The Hydroprime hydrogen generator (photo) is intended for use in numerous manufacturing and refining applications in a variety of industries. The modular, skid-mounted plant produces ultra-high purity (greater than 99.999%) hydrogen at 200 psig onsite utilizing a steam-methane reforming technology. The generator is fully automated with load-following controls to allow unattended operation. The new product line has a very high natural-gas conversion rate and is highly heat integrated, which translates into low operating costs, says the company.
