B&V launches Smart Analytics for making smart utilities smarter

Black & Veatch (B&V; Overland Park, Kan.; www.bv.com) announced today the launch of Smart Analytics, a set of information technology solutions that improve utility performance, reliability and service. It helps clients make better use of the data they receive from digital networks and devices. “Smart Analytics are essential for reducing costs and enhancing reliability of electric, natural gas and water utility assets,” says Martin Travers, president of B&V’s Telecommunications Division. “Helping our clients gain maximum value from their investments is a top priority for us. We want to help our clients operate their facilities in the most sustainable manner.” With Smart Analytics, clients will have better insights into their operations. They will be able to better monitor and diagnose operating conditions. This allows for faster and better decision-making to enhance reliability and efficiencies.
